What can you do with it?

You will be able to work as a professional land worker, run your own farm or small holding, or train to work in care, social therapeutic horticulture sectors or other roles schools and colleges.

Conditions:

You are expected to participate fully in the work on the holding where you are living in return for food, accommodation and any other agreed expenses.

Entry requirement, fees and costs: Minimum age 19 years old. Course and administration fees will apply but bursaries are available.

  • Clervaux: 100 acres, market garden and fruit, laying hens, woodlands and pasture. Box Scheme
  • Coleg Plas Dwbl: 100 acres, beef cattle and sheep, natural habitat management, small market garden & woodland
  • High Riggs, Freeman College: 9 acres of market garden. Box Scheme
  • Gables Farm, Ruskin Mill College: 100 acres, beef cattle, market garden, working horses, laying hens, sheep, fish farm, woodlands, farm shop and smokery
  • Valehead, Glasshouse College: 32 acres, dairy goats, beef cattle, laying hens, market garden, woodlands
